Description:

Situated on 14 acres along Jamaica's northwestern coast in the town of Negril, Point Village is an hour drive from Montego Bay's Sangster International Airport. On a rugged promontory bordered by two white sand beachfronts are the 150 air-conditioned apartments (comprised of studios, junior suites, one-, two- and three-bedroom units). These rooms are conveniently equipped with satellite television, kitchenette, telephone, balcony or patio featuring a view of either the Caribbean Sea or lush tropical gardens. The resort welcomes singles, couples and families choosing a moderately priced vacation on a variety of package plans from room only to all-inclusive.

The property offers a freshwater pool and jacuzzi, two natural salt water rock pools, land sports including beach volleyball, basketball and a tennis court lit for night play. The full-service Watersports Shop offers scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, glass bottom boat tours, windsurfing, sunset cruises and much more. (Beach towels are available.)

Besides all of the daily activity going on at Point Village, there's also nightly entertainment. The Village Beat Nightclub is open nightly from 10pm to 2am except Wednesday nights. The resort offers casual dining in one restaurant and two outdoor waterfront cafes. Serving Jamaican and International cuisine located on the lower level from the lobby. Incognito at the Point is by reservation only and charges a surcharge. The three bars serve an array of delectable beverages ranging from fresh fruit juices to cocktails that feature domestic liqueurs.

Kiddies Center features video amusements and user-friendly educational activities, in addition to treasure hunts, sand castle building contests, nature walks, reggae/calypso dance classes, face painting etc. Private babysitting is available at a cost of US$5.00 per hour. A 24-hour notice is requested.

The meeting facility accommodates theatre style seating for up to 70 persons. The meeting centre also has an adjoining executive board room for 10 persons. Two gift shops (3B's Duty Free Shop and Mimo's Boutique), a commissary (To Market To Market), and a full service beauty salon (Salon Delores), which offers massages and aromatherapy, are located on the property. A Guest Services desk provides luggage handling, bureau de change/cashier services etc.
